Ed Poet's Society Workshop
Not everyone is a poet, but through our words we can make action happen! In this 45-minute hands-on workshop, we'll tackle the tough topics that are surrounding us and turn them into beautiful poetry!
While reciting them in public is COMPLETELY optional, we will hold a small poetry slam at the end of Day 1 for those brave enough to bare their soul in front of everyone!

Making educational YouTube videos: Teacher-created content
This crash course in educational video creation will go through educational script writing and branding, filming, lighting, and camera equipment, all the way through to editing and video dissemination through social media and educational platforms. Research shows that educational videos hold attention more effectively than traditional lectures and textbooks. They can facilitate discussion on subjects, demonstrate experiments and homework activities, and provide instruction outside of classroom time. Over time, creating videos can reduce teacher workload as they build a library of evergreen resources to share with students. Learn to create your own in this hands-on session with three experienced YouTube creators!
